Description of Hentai Samurai (Hentaidan) from the Yubari International Fantastic Film Festival: "It is a graduation project piece for a film production workshop held by Noboru Iguchi, director of [The Machine Girl (Kataude mashin gâru)], and it exceeds all the expectations for such piece. The film depicts 18 abnormal men and women who have different fetishism, including lesbian, scatologist and choking mania, encouraging each other and eventually reaching to a shocking climax. It describes both abnormal love and violence at the same time. The sad ending draws tears. Iguchi shows new ground in direction and the cast display electric personalities."

The request from one man, non-actor, led director Noboru Iguchi make an unusual action film with lots of special effect. Damager, a masochistic hero, transforms himself by slashing his wrist and gets stronger as he feels pain. He faces tough challenges, trying to save a girl whom he likes. This S&M hero has a resemblance to a Junichiro Tanizaki film."
