Derrick Rose Throws Assist to Himself off Defender’s Back

Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose got off to an ugly start this season. He entered his Thursday-night matchup with Russell Westbrook and the Oklahoma City Thunder averaging just 10.2 points and 5.4 assists per game on 33.9 percent shooting. All those numbers went way up after the Bulls' 104-98 victory. Rose led his team with 29 points and seven assists. The 2011 MVP also had one assist that didn't show up in the box score—to himself, off the back of Thunder center Steven Adams. Take a look:
