GST to be waived for rural domestic air services

In the Budget 2016 announcement made by Prime Minister Najib Razak today, Economy class tickets for domestic rural air services will be exempted from GST. He also announced a new programme where RM70 million will be allocated for interest-free loans for the construction of longhouses.
