Man shot in the neck at Dallas Cowboys stadium

ARLINGTON, TEXAS ? A suspected shooter is in custody for allegedly shooting a man in the neck during a fight after a Dallas Cowboys game on Sunday evening in Arlington, Texas.

According to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, responding officers heard a gunshot as they arrived and found the seriously injured victim in the parking lot at AT&T Stadium. Local NBC affiliate KXAS reports the victim suffered a gunshot wound to his neck and is currently in critical condition.

The Dallas Morning News reports that the suspect injured his leg after tripping over a retainer wall, which authorities believe happened while he was trying to flee. He is currently in custody at another hospital and has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Police believe the shooting was an isolated incident.
