An amusing video has emerged of a man pranking his flatmate by popping out of a box as he comes home from work.

The footage, captured at a home in Surrey, UK, shows the man jumping out from a cardboard box positioned next to the front door and scaring the wits out of his housemate.

"Waited inside a box for my flatmate to arrive home. My flatmate is called Gavin and I spend half of my time either pranking him, or thinking of ideas on how to prank him. The result couldn't have been better! #FlatmateProblems," the prankster wrote online.
