Shravan Kanar, a 36-year-old farm labourer allegedly killed seven of his family members, including his one-year-old grand-daughter, before committing suicide at Nani Kosamdi village of Valsad district. Primary investigation revealed that all were hacked to death by Shravan kanar with a sickle, who then committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling. Police yet to find out the reason behind the act
