Mars Today, the burgeoning Los Angeles-via-San Francisco producer multi-instrumentalist has a new EP to shout about. Having already jumped in the lab with Soulection artist ESTA on the single "summatime fine" recently, this next project acts as a pertinent stepping stone. Tropical Fruit is as delectable as the cover artwork suggests.
"Um Dia" is a collaboration with one of the Bay's most talented folk, Gyrefunk. It's the equivalent of a Sunday siesta with a refreshing drink in hand; sumptuous, refreshing and relaxing in equal measure. Samba and electronica combine to concoct the finest fruit punch sound, sweetened even further by Nurse Boogz's vocal stylings.
