Congress leader Digvijay Singh has strongly hit out at Shiv Sena for getting Pakistani ghazal singer Ghulam Ali's Mumbai concert cancelled. In a series of tweets posted today, Singh said that he "condemned" the cancellation of the concert and criticised Shiv Sena , as well as the BJP. "If Ghulam Ali could sing in Sankat Mochan Temple in Varanasi why not in a function in Mumbai? Shiv Sena wants to become Indian Taliban," he said in one of the tweets. Questing if Shiv Sena was a "bigger protector of our religion than Brahmins of Varanasi" he added that BJP and Sangh were "using religion for politics and extortion".
