Meet A Three-Tailed Lizard From Kosovo

Researchers found a blue-throated keeled lizard in Kosovo that had three tails. They say it's the first of its kind ever recorded.

A three-tailed lizard has been found in Kosovo; the first of its species to ever be identified. 
The blue-throated keeled lizard was found earlier this summer, laying out on some rocks near a village. 
Researchers soon discovered their new friend had three tails—each a different color and size. 
Some lizards use the process of self amputation called "autotomy" as a technique to avoid being eaten. 
During regeneration, it's not entirely uncommon for a lizard to grow two tails instead of one.
It's believed this happens when a predator damages the tail without completely severing it;
