Madhur Bhandarkar is back and now with Calendar Girls. With supporting music from Meet Bros, Anjjan and Amaal Mallik the film has Akansha PUri, Kyra Dutt, Avani Modi, Ruhi Singh , Satarupa PYne , Suhel Seth and Rohit Roy. Suhel takes the role of Vijay Mallya and the rest of them represent Nandita Menon, Sharon Pinto, Nazneen Malik, Mayuri Chauhan, Paroma Ghosh, who are all real life characters and have a story of their own.
With Madhur always focusing on reality the movie is almost real and focuses on these five girls who come from various Indian states and pose for the most prestigious annual calendar which is a regular feature by the baron Vijay Mallya.
The storyline is interesting and with Madhur in question, people expect the best and he has his own coterie of fans who would watch the movie only for its real value. The teaser and the first look was a whammer already and with so many sensuous bodies floating on the screen we give it a thumbs up for eye candy. Otherwise it would get a three out of five stars from us. A one time watch.
