Burkina Faso: Coup ends popular uprising heralded as example in Africa (part 1)

Chaos has broken out again in Burkina Faso in West Africa: a section of the military has seized power, arresting the interim president and prime minister. Heading up the coup is a general who was chief of staff to the former longtime president Blaise Compaoré. Compaoré was in power for 27 years before he was ousted last October. Does this coup mean he's trying to forge a comeback? What will happen now to the fledging democratic process in Burkina Faso?
