Boxing India stands suspended: AIBA

The Chairman of the AIBA ad-hoc committee Kishan Narsi has reiterated in an e-mail communication that Boxing India stands provisionally suspended after the derecognized national body in a notification had scheduled its Annual General Meeting in Guwahati on October 3. With Narsi's e-mail repeating the old stand of AIBA, it effectively means that the BI AGM and the subsequent various national championships organized by the federation would be deemed invalid. Cliodhna of the AIBA legal cell mailed Narsi enquiring about whether Meren Paul and others could hold AGM and national competitions when the body (BI) is provisionally suspended.
