Rajkot: An OBC outfit appealed the Gujarat government to stop Hardik Patel from taking out the proposed “reverse” Dandi march on Sunday in a bid to “maintain peace in the state”, even as the Patidar leader met representatives of social groups led by the community for another rally in Rajkot. OBC Ekta Manch, an outfit that claims to be fighting for the rights of Other Backward Classes, held a meeting with members of various communities, including Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, in Rajkot and declared that it would oppose the Patidar yatra from Dandi to Ahmedabad.
