While doing thalassotherapy in Biarritz with her best friend, Violette, a forty-something Parisian working in fashion, encounters Jean-René, a simple computer analyst newly-divorced. After years of solitude, she lets him seduce her. Jean-René joins Violette in Paris, trying to adapt to the Parisian microcosm in which she lives.
