Mexico: Women March Against Femicide, Disappearances
  • 9 years ago
Hundreds of women marched to government headquarters in the northern Mexican state of Chihuahua to demand an end to the culture of violence that exists in the country. The women were all from the leftist National Regeneration Movement, who called on the state to do more to stop femicides and the disappearances of women. They say that 10 women have been killed in the state so far this year and that government inaction contributes to the rising number of deaths. teleSUR
