Mariachi time in Guadalajara

Mariachi musicians from around the world gathered in the Mexican city of Guadalajara for the International Mariachi and Horsemanship Conference. Hundreds of performers take part in the annual event, which is now in its 22nd year. In addition to the mariachi musicians, Sunday’s parade also featured floats, dancers and displays of horsemanship. The 10-day event, which also includes free mariachi concerts, a horsemanship championship and theatre events runs until 6 September.
