During ramadan 2010 I walked around in the streets of Tangiers. Everybody who approached me and asked for money or tried to sell something, I asked them to make a drawing for 10 dirhams. These drawings were published in the book '10 dirhams-souvenir de Tanger' together with small texts about the meetings.
The video shows the deserted streets during the breaking of the fast, by sunset.
The audio is recorded when I went back to Tangiers to search for the people who made a drawing and give them a book.
The profits of the sale of the book goes to Darna, an organisation in Tangier who shelters and supports street children.

Pendant le ramadan 2011 je me suis promené dans les rue de Tanger. Chaque personne qui m'approchait pour demander de l'argent ou vendre quelque chose j'ai demandé de faire un dessin pour 10 dirhams. Tous ces dessins sont publié dans le livre '10 dirhams-souvenir de Tanger' accompagnée par des petit textes sur ces rencontres.
Les images sont pris dans les rues désertés quand le soleil se couches et tous les gens vont manger le 'ftour', la rupture du jeûne.
Le son est pris quand je suis rentré à Tanger pour chercher les gens qui ont fait un dessin et leur donner un livre.
Les bénéfices vont à Darna, une organisation à Tanger qui supporte et protège les enfants de la rue.
