Chinese shares plunge as investors fear slowdown

The Shanghai stock market has had its worst day in almost 18 years, closing down 8.5 percent this Monday. Investors were spooked by continuing fears over a slowdown in the world's second-largest economy. We spoke to our correspondent in Beijing as the afternoon trading session got underway in China.
