Suspected PAS workers accuse PSM of bringing down flags

Pakatan Rakyat's operations centre for the Kota Damansara state seat was visited by three people who accused the staff of removing some of banners flying the PAS symbol in the area.

The three were in attire resembling that of the Islamist party's uniform.

Parti Sosialis Malaysia's Dr Nasir Hashim had contested and won the seat at the 2008 general election, under the Pakatan banner.

The electoral pact was supposed to have been continued at this election, but coalition partner PAS seemed to have other ideas.

The controversy ended yesterday when PAS relented and has now officially withdrawn from the race.

But it would seem that the message hadn't yet reached all their members.
