The young Jamaican singer Mitzie ‘Shuga’ Campbell is also known as Sugar Brown. After gaining some experience through local shows and talent contests in his home Montego Bay, Shuga rose to fame when he won the well-known national talent show Digicell Raising Stars in 2009. Before this, he had grown as an artist, working with Tanya Stephens as a backing singer in her world tours of 2007 and 2008.
After working with Computer Paul Henton, he is now with the prestigious Penthouse owned by Donovan Germain. She has recorded various singles for this powerhouse record label, including “Bedroom Punisher” and “Tell Me a Lie”. In his latest song for the label “In Deh”, Shuga shows a real inclination towards roots & culture.
