200 gather at Dataran Shah Alam for anti-Lynas protest

Some 200 protesters gathered at the Dataran Shah Alam in the Selangor capital today in nationwide protests against the Lynas Advanced Materials Plant (Lamp).
The group started gathering from 2.20pm, after the Friday prayers at Masjid Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah, some 600 metres away, and began chanting slogans, with the organisers making speeches under the hot sun.
