World Orangutan Day: Primate under pressure | DW News

On the island of Sumatra, just 6,000 orangutans remain in the wild. The primate species faces increasing pressure on its habitats and they're being sold on the black market as pets. But some animals are recovered from captivity and reserves do exist.
