Rahul Gandhi Joins The One Rank One Pension Fight

Ex-servicemen who have been protesting for over 50 days on the delay in the proposed One Rank One Pension (OROP) scheme were evacuated from Jantar Mantar in the wake of security checks ahead of the Independence Day. Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi paid a surprise visit and joined the protestors at the venue only to hear ‘Go Back Rahul’ chants on his arrival. Rahul said that PM Modi should at least give a timeline by when will the OROP scheme become a reality.
