Approved Permits for cars to stay - Mustapa

The vehicle import Approved Permits (APs) will remain for now, even as government denied that it has backtracked on its initial plan to end the scheme by December next year.

Instead, International Trade and Industry Minister Mustapa Mohamed says an in-depth study will be conducted on the scheme which has been criticised for promoting rent-seeking and favouritism.
