Anything But Umno (ABU) founder and human rights lawyer Haris Ibrahim grilled former prime minister Mahathir Mohamad for letting Malaysia's inequality get out of hand at a public lecture held at UM today.
Haris asked Mahathir to explain "What went wrong?" and insisted the elder statesman apologize for failing to eradicate poverty.
Mahathir answered by saying that noone could expect every Prime Minister to follow what the previous prime ministers have done.
