This was a jazz outfit that recorded a dozen of sides in the early and mid-20s. Very little personal information is known about them except their discographic data. Yet the band comprised several great jazzmen. Personnel included: John Cali and Nick Lucas, banjo; John Helleberg, brass bass; Jules Levy Jr. and Phil Napoleon, trumpet; Nick Lucas, banjo; Jimmy Lytell, clarinet; Loring Murray and Rudy Wiedoeft, alto saxophone; Charles Panelli, trombone; Jack Roth, drums; Frank Signorelli, piano. This outstanding recording was made in 1923. By lack of visuals referring to the band, I included some sheet music by the composer of this tune.
