Experimental US director Robert Wilson takes on the avant-garde French playwright Jean Genet. The outcome is a world gone topsy-turvy. The Blacks, showing in the Odean theatre in Paris, weaves together a subversive text with clowning and dance, undermining stereotypes and racial prejudice.
