Strange are the ways of Bollywood and stranger are the ways of the fans! Wasn’t the much touted Bangistan banned in Pakistan and UAE, yet it did ultimately get released in India!
That’s Bollywood for you! Full masala and tadka. Bangistan the story of two wannabe terrorists who go out on a mission to bring a badlaav in the world, is entertaining with total tamasha and worth a watch once.
For those who want quality stuff in the movies, this is not for them. This is a light breezer with a strong message. Starring Riteish Deshmukh, Chandan Roy Sanyal and PUlkit Samrat, it is an average entertainer for the filmi janta.
Two political parties influence Riteish and PUlkit to become suicide bombers. The film is about how they masquerade as people from religion other than theirs and try to protect their real identity and lead to a series of comic events which eventually have a predictable ending.
With an effective message the film is a good try to make different kind of cinema. However there are some editing errors and the grip loses after some time. So we give it three stars out of five.
