As the environmental pollution gets serious, electric cars are gaining more popularity. Korean companies are jumping into production of batteries, seen as the heart of electric cars. In their efforts to lead the global electric car battery market, they are trying to gain reputation for superiority of their products in the overseas markets. Moreover, domestic researchers are trying to overcome the limitations of electric car batteries by conducting studies on increasing their charging speed and mileage. We will look into the present and future of Korea's electric car battery technology.
