Mumbai: BJP launches counter-attack, alleges scams in Congress-ruled states - Tv9

Mumbai: The Maharashtra state legislative assembly and council plunged into pandemonium as Opposition demanded the resignation of Women and Child Welfare Minister Pankaja Munde and Education Minister Vinod Tawde for their alleged involvement in the “chikki” scam and fake engineering degree respectively. As part of the ruling BJP’s strategy to respond to the Congress’ demand for resignation of party leaders accused of corruption by mounting a counter-offensive, the party targeted Congress leaders for different graft scandals.
