This is a follow up video of my Platinum Blonde tutorial - I'm going to show you how I maintain my roots and platinum color at home every 6-8 weeks using Garnier Nutrisse Bleach (D01) and Wella Color Charm T18. I loooooove Wella toner and learned how to use it a few months ago after lifting my hair completely to platinum. I'm so happy with the results. I like to use the box bleach because honestly, I'm so nervous about not using the right measurements for bleach - and it's so easy with the box... everything is all set to go. Garnier bleach is honestly the best bleach I've used - it lightens perfectly to a bright yellow every single time. My hair is naturally medium blonde, so this is a dream to use at home.

Disclaimer!! For the toner process - You can use 20 developer or 30 developer with the Wella Color Charm. I would only use 30 developer if your hair still has dark patches/orange patches from lifting the old color out. You really shouldn't use 30 developer every time you tone your hair because it might be too much for your beautiful locks and they might eventually get super damaged or burn off. It's strong stuff! When I bleach my roots, I will use Wella Color Charm and 20 developer - I love the results - my hair lifts perfect to a nice ash blonde every time. 20 developer is a good way to mildly lift the color up to platinum, without too much damage. A 10 developer isn't enough for this to work - trust me I tried. Make sure to mix TWO parts developer and ONE part toner in a bowl. I use measuring cups haha.

ANOTHER DISCLAIMER: I am NOT a professional hair stylist - I have been practicing at home on my own for many years. I have recently had the courage to try using professional Wella toner and if I can do it - YOU can do it!! :)

This video is for entertainment purposes and I'm just trying to give everyone some inexpensive tips to do some fun hair colors at home. I am in no way trying to take business away from any talented hair colorists out there :)

I am not affiliated to the above companies.
