On July 7, 2015, the largest scientific conference on climate change and global warming opened in Paris. Held by UNESCO and called "Our common future under climate change", the conference was opened by Najat Vallaud-Belkacem, french minister for national education, higher education and research and Ségolène Royal, minister for ecology, sustainable development and ernergy.
