I Departure Ave. nascono a Roma nell’estate del 2012, uscendo dopo solo sei mesi con l’esordio “All the Sunset in a Cup”. L’album, autoprodotto, ha ricevuto da subito ottime recensioni e ha creato interesse intorno alla band. Il video del primo singolo 27/B esce in anteprima per Rolling Stone. Immediatamente dopo l’uscita del disco è iniziata la collaborazione con Bomba Dischi, etichetta discografica per cui esce Yarn. Il gruppo sceglie nuovamente l’isolamento per la composizione del nuovo album, lavorando autonomamente su registrazioni e missaggi. Il primo singolo di Yarn sarà Miles D., arricchito dalla fortunata collaborazione con Raffaele Casarano

The Departure Ave. were born in Rome in the summer of 2012. Six months later their first “All the Sunset in a Cup” appears. The album, self-released, immediately received excellent reviews from the insiders and turned a light on the band.
The video for the single “27/b” was released as a preview for Rolling Stone. After the album was released the band has begun the collaboration with Bomba Dischi, the independent label which released “Yarn”.
Isolation is once again chosen for the composition of the new album, independently recorded and mixed.
“Miles D.” is the first single released from the second album and avails itself of the wonderful saxophone played by Raffaele Casarano.
