Engineer Los is an alternative hip-hop band from St. Petersburg, Russia. They are famous for their incredible performances, which make the crowd dance and scream outrageously. EL use Soviet synths and vintage guitars. They produce sounds that could be defined as a weird mixture of indie-rock, hip-hop and electroclash. EL’s lyrics is full of references to sci-fi movies and esoteric books; they mainly sing about cyber kids, the end of the world, mind parasites and quantum physics.
