After touring Australia in their own right and with such acts as The Living End, British India and The Saints, numerous festival appearances including Splendour In The Grass, Queenscliff Music Festival and Pyramid Rock, and releasing 3 singles 'Yeah Go Die', 'Medusa' and 'She's My Baby', 2012 was a massive unearthing year for KINGSWOOD culminating in a tour to Afghanistan to perform for Coalition Forces over 5 shows throughout the country.

In 2013, KINGSWOOD play a national Australian tour with Grinspoon, support Aerosmith, play Groovin The Moo, Big Pineapple, Festival of The Sun, Golden Days and Big Day Out Festivals, release their 4th single 'Ohio' and 'Change of Heart - EP Deluxe' to critical acclaim.

2014 saw the band returning from Nashville having recorded their debut album with Grammy award winning producer Vance Powell (Jack White, Arctic Monkeys, The Ractonteurs). KINGSWOOD's LP 'Microscopic Wars' had a top 10 debut in the national ARIA charts at #6 and subsequently went on to receive an ARIA Nomination for 'Best Rock Album'. The band again appeared on the national runs of the Big Day Out, Groovin' The Moo, Splendour in the Grass and Falls Festival alongside their own sell out album tours.
