A huge bomb blast has struck a NATO military convoy in the Afghan capital Kabul. At least three people have been injured in the attack.
The NATO convoy was hit in southeastern part of the city. This is the third significant attack on foreign convoys in the past three weeks. The Taliban have claimed responsibility. NATO ended its combat mission in Afghanistan in December. It has only maintained a small residual force in the country for training purposes. However, the Western military alliance has become the frequent target of the Taliban’s so-called summer offensive.
