Already 10 years ago recorded at the 1997 Europa Park Festival in Rust Germany we witnes how 3 of Europe’s best drummers give each other a run for their money. Britain’s Pete York, Italy’s Charly Antolini and Holland’s Huub Janssen. Each, a star in his own right, dares to go in competition. It appears that a drum jazz battle is so final. Other instrumentalists seem to compliment each other and one often cannot determine who is the better one. I have an opinion on the outcome of this battle. However I will refrain from publishing it. Pete, Charly and Huub are just fantastic musicians.
