BJP MP and Bollywood actress Hema Malini met with an accident while traveling to Jaipur from Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, leaving few injured and killing a 5-year old girl. The actress’ driver was arrested on charges of causing death by negligence.

And if sources are to be believed, the actress underwent a plastic surgery for her wounds at Fortis Hospital and is absolutely fine. According to the P Tamboli, Facility Director at Fortis, the Sholay actress had lacerations on forehead near right eyebrow and in para-nasal area. Repair of lacerated wounds and debridement surgery was carried out after the accident. It was quite a long procedure, and she is now in intensive care unit. Phew!

Also, doctors stated that the actresses suffered minor fracture in nasal bone, and she will be okay within six weeks. On the other, Hanuman Mahajan lost her daughter Sonam in the accident. Stay tuned for more updates on the same!
