Behind the scenes of haute couture: Taking time to create something unique

Haute couture is how the big luxury groups show what they’re made of on the international scene. But in Paris, there's still a handful of independent labels, as keen as ever to invest in high-end ingenuity. The key inspiration for Julien Fournié’s collection was the 1942 film "La Nuit fantastique" de Marcel L’Herbier. Serkan Cura was inspired by Disney’s "Frozen". Tran Thi Thanh Nga, fashion designer at Defined Moment, was influenced by her past as a mechanical engineer.
Haute couture is all about taking time to create something unique.
