MQM Condemns act of Implicating an MQM worker In the murder case of Waqas Ali Shah

MQM Co-ordination Committee has strongly condemned that act of implicating MQM worker Asif Ali in the murder case of another MQM worker Waqas Ali Shah, who died as a result of firing by Rangers personnel on 11th March 2015.
In a statement, the Co-ordination Committee said that Asif Ali, belonging to Gulistan-e-Jauhar Sector, was arrested on 12th May, and no one knew about his whereabouts. His arrest has been formally declared today, and he has been implicated in the murder of Waqas Ali Shah.
The Co-ordination Committee said that a large number of people had witnessed the baton charge and firing done by Rangers on 11th March for dispersing the crowd that had gathered at Nine Zero. Waqas Ali Shah was hit by a bullet fired by a Rangers personnel.
The footage showing firing by Rangers was broadcast on television channels as well. The Co-ordination Committee said implicating Asif Ali in the case was an attempt to save the Rangers personnel.
The Co-ordination Committee demanded action against the Rangers personnel that instead of implicating the MQM worker.
