The palace of Versailles is synonymous with tradition, opulence and the "ancien regime". Yet every summer there's a breath of fresh air as the former royal residence invites a contemporary artist to show their work on site.
Sculptor Anish Kapoor is this year's guest. His work has already made headlines in France, with some critics saying the sculpture "Dirty Corner" resembles female genitalia, and that it has no place in this kind of historical institution.
