Demond MALLET backstage interview

BADALONA (Liga ACB) - Baseballs loss was basketballs gain when Louisiana native Demond Mallet decided to focus on hoops as a career. A lightning-quick, slick-fielding outfielder in high school, Mallet chose to concentrate on the hardwood and attended McNeese State in Lake Charles, where he played for the Cowboys for four years before turning professional and moving to Europe.
Mallet spent six seasons in Germany before moving to DKV Joventut in Spain for the 2007-08 campaign and winning the Copa del Rey and the ULEB Cup. The 1.78m Mallet is still with the Badalona outfit and averaging 11 points per game.
This weekend, he and DKV play in the Copa del Rey in Madrid. Mallet gave this interview to FIBA.coms Jeff Taylor earlier this season.More videos on www.fiba.com & www.youtube.com/fibaworld
