In a fresh twist to the Sunanda Pushkar murder case, Dr. Sudhir Gupta, Head of Forensics Dept, AIIMS has written a letter to Health Minister JP Nadda alleging a tacit understanding between former Union Minister Shashi Tharoor and the director of AIIMS, Dr. MC Misra . Dr. Gupta, in his letter to the health minister has also alleged that he was 'asked by Dr. Misra to give a post-mortem report of late Sunanda Pushkar as NATURAL DEATH, which was contrary to the findings'. The head AIIMS, Dr. MC Misra has now moved the High Court filling an affidavit demanding the removal of Dr. Sudhir Gupta as the head of the Forensic Department. Speaking exclusively to Times Now Dr. Gupta said, “Dr. MC Misra is not co operating with me and my department for last one year since the Sunanda Puskar case came to limelight. I have written many letters to him but he has not responded to a single letter.” Sunanda Pushkar, wife of former Union Minister Shashi Tharoor was found dead in a New Delhi hotel in January 2014. In January, 2015, the Delhi Police termed her death as a murder.
