MANILA, Philippines -- Ariella Arida, a 24-year-old from Laguna, will be the country's representative to the Miss Universe pageant this year after she was named Miss Universe Philippines 2013 during the Binibining Pilipinas Gold coronation night on Sunday at the Araneta Coliseum.
