The founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement Mr. Altaf Hussain said that the women were forcefully stopped to cast their votes in various districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during the Local Government’s Elections.
In statement issued from London Secretariat, MQM Chief said that the people’s democratic rights were snatched by force so the Local Bodies’ Elections in KPK should immediately be called null and void and the Election Commission announced the elections under the impartial commentators.
Mr. Hussain condemned rigging in the KPK’s Local Bodies’ Elections, where weapons, forced balloting and attacks on oppositions were carried out openly. He said that all the media had been reporting about the rigging and nothing was wrong in it, while if it would be MQM than all the TV channels started media trail against it.
He pointed out that the media had already reported about the untold agreement among Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Jamaat-e-Islami, Pakistan Muslim League-N and Awami National Party stopped the women to cast their votes during the elections. He demanded the President Mamnoon Hussain, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Chief Justice of Pakistan and Chief Election Commissioner to take immediate notice against the alleged rigging, unrest and innocent killings during the elections.
