In spite of not studying hard, Purab clears his exams with good percentage. While despite of working hard, Kshitij looses his job. Purab becomes overconfident because of his results and his attitude gets worse. One night Purab comes home drunk and not in his senses. Sharda and Kshitij comes to know about his state and they get angry on him. Purab is over confident about his good luck and fortune… while Kshitij works hard in spite of his bad luck and does not lose hope. Purab tries to multiple his money by gambling. And to invest the initial amount of 10 lakhs, he goes to the extent of mortgaging their house. He schemes to deceive his mother and takes her sign on a blank paper.
