In a major setback for Aam Adami Party (AAP) the High Court has refused to put any stay on the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) summons to leader Kumar Vishwas. A female volunteer had accused Vishwas of not rebutting the "rumours" about an illicit liaison with her during campaigning for the Lok Sabha elections in Amethi. DCW Chief Barkha Singh Sukhla who had summoned Vishwas to clear the air about issue, Singh had later written to lieutenant governor Najeeb Jung asking for a complaint to be filed against Vishwas for allegedly threatening her.
