Underwear thief caught red-handed by Japanese police

Kodama, a 27-year-old unemployed man from the western Japanese city of Kobe was arrested last month for breaking into his neighbor's apartment and stealing the 65-year-old's underwear.
The suspect allegedly broke into his neighbor's apartment a second time and returned the stolen item, according to a report by the Sankei Shimbun.
The suspect is also believed to have broken into a 45-year-old man's apartment this past July. Police investigating the break-in discovered DNA evidence linking the suspect to the scene of the crime and to his neighbor's underwear.
The suspect confessed to both crimes during questioning, and said that the two victims were his favourites and that he quite fancied the both of them.
