China's moon rover Jade Rabbit comes back to life

China's Jade Rabbit lunar rover had been declared dead on the Moon's surface. The rover was expected to operate for about three months, but it suffered serious mechanical problems in January.

According to China's state-run media outlet Xinhua, communications with Jade Rabbit have been restored, but engineers are still working to fix its mechanical problems. There's a chance the Jade Rabbit could be saved after all.
