Sex scandal: public servant calls prostitutes at work
  • 9 years ago
Forty-three-year-old Yong-qing Lee (李永慶), who works at a Taichung City district office in central Taiwan, was caught hiring prostitutes during office work hour on his computer.

His conversation with a pimp was made public by city Councilor Zhi-zhong Hsieh (謝志忠) at a press conference yesterday.

Last month, while he was on duty, Lee contacted a pimp for prostitution using the office computer. After the time and location of the deal was confirmed, Lee allegedly made inquiries about student prostitutes. When the pimp set the price at the range at NT$5,000 to NT$7,000, Lee only offered to pay NT$3,000.

Lee is denying the accusations. He claims he suffers from Muscular Dystrophy, which means he would not be able to engage in any sexual activities with anyone. The city government wasn't buying his story, and has penalized Lee with two demerit points. Lee has also been transferred to another institution and his year-end bonus was reduced.
